Nathaniel Adam Wickliffe, J.D./LL.M., M.B.A.

Registered U.S. Patent Attorney

Nathaniel is an experienced patent attorney who spent years working in a boutique IP law firm with clients raging from international corporations having patent portfolios in countries around the world to individual inventors having single patents on ideas they developed without corporate sponsorship. Nathaniel graduated from Wabash College with a B.A. in '99, followed by an M.B.A. from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, and two law degrees from The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Franklin Pierce Law is world-renowned for intellectual property law, where Nathaniel graduated cum laude with a J.D. and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property law. Nathaniel particularly enjoys teaching inventors about the patenting process and how to obtain the strongest possible protection for their ideas.

Heather Castro

Paralegal

Heather is a highly skilled ABA certified paralegal specializing in both US and foreign patents and trademarks, as well as copyrights. She has worked solely in the field of intellectual property with over 15+ years of experience, in small boutique firms as well as a large firm. She is detail-oriented and extremely efficient. She handles all aspects of the preparation and filing of both patents and trademarks.

Jeff Newman

​​A graduate of Dartmouth College and Vermont Law School, Jeff has illustrated more than 1,200 patent applications since 1995 and has been preparing patent illustrations with Nathaniel Wickliffe since 2015.

Natsuko Kaifu

Office Manager

Natsuko is originally from Japan where she was president of her family's company for many years. She is fluent in Japanese and English, and plays a vital role in managing the business as well as coordinating with Japanese clients.
